Acadia National Park: Autumn Adventure

Calendar Oct 16, 2019 at 8 am

Let’s explore the beauty of Acadia National Park with the gorgeous fall colors, without the crowds! Our first stop at Sand Beach will include a picnic lunch provided by a local deli (with desserts from a local bakery!), followed by a leisurely cruise along Park Loop Road with stops at Thunder Hole and Otter Cliffs. Discovery the beauty of the sheer cliffs and ocean vistas as we make our way through the park, enjoying the scenery during peak foliage season! Let’s visit Jordan Pond House, where we’ll savor the view AND the popovers (an unlimited supply!), and then head to the summit of Cadillac Mountain for a bird’s eye view of Mount Desert Island. We’ll make a quick stop in Bar Harbor to check out the shops and galleries before we call it a day. This is one day in Acadia you won’t want to miss, so relax and enjoy the ride! Included in cost: lunch from a local deli and bakery (drink, sandwich, chips & desserts), park entrance fees, drink & unlimited popovers at Jordan Pond House. Dinner in Bar Harbor not included in cost. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring extra layers, comfortable walking shoes, water and snacks, if you choose. We will be using a coach bus for transportation, equipped with a restroom. This trip is family-friendly. Bring your sense of adventure!
